When you run the first and only national nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity for Black women and girls, demonstrating your personal knowledge and leadership in the space is crucial. Enter Vault, who counseled Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) President Linda Goler Blount on how to amplify her voice and personal brand to drive impactful results for the crucial work she does daily.
To elevate Linda’s thought leadership power, we revamped her LinkedIn profile to ensure it adequately highlighted her impressive expertise and lifelong advocacy for Black women’s health.
To maintain a consistent presence and ensure timely content, we developed bi-weekly content calendars which featured Linda’s take on the latest research, news articles, legislation and other issues affecting Black women and their health needs. We also incorporated real-time, time-sensitive content to stay relevant and engage our audience.
By crafting compelling narratives that resonated with Linda’s followers, we successfully drove significant engagement and fostered meaningful conversations. Our content focused on highlighting the systemic issues impacting Black women, advocating for policy changes, and sharing inspiring stories of resilience and progress.
Building upon Linda’s strengthened online presence, Vault helped secure a coveted spot for Linda on the Forbes 50/50 list alongside other influential women such as Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson, MacKenzie Scott and Billie Jean King. This recognition solidified her position as a leading figure in healthcare advocacy and opened doors to new opportunities.
To further amplify Linda’s voice, we proactively sought out media opportunities to position her as a subject matter expert. Our aggressive newshound team closely monitored news developments and identified relevant outlets to pitch her expertise. We crafted compelling op-eds and media statements that highlighted the importance of health equity for Black women and called for action.
Through our strategic media outreach, we successfully secured high-profile placements in national and regional news outlets. These placements not only increased Linda’s visibility but also brought attention to the critical issues facing Black women and girls.
Vault’s ongoing partnership with Linda has garnered meaningful discussion, speaking opportunities and prominence in the media as a subject matter expert, showcasing her leadership in the healthcare advocacy space and affording her additional opportunities to reach those whose hands are on the levers of power to further the Black Women’s Health Imperative’s mission.
And by work, we mean exceed your expectations every step of the way.
