Bringing National Attention to a Hidden Danger

Spreading awareness about the danger of termites for homeowners through innovative thinking and content development.

You probably know what a termite is, but are you really aware of the incredible destruction they’re capable of? To help the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) educate homeowners about the devastation potentially taking place behind their walls, Vault developed the Tiny Termite House, a first-of-its-kind demonstration featuring 500,000 termites set loose in a miniature, built-to-scale dream home.

Capabilities

Driving the message “home.”

Vault helped NPMA and its partners capture the non-stop destruction on high-definition video and developed digital content to tell the story. Tiny Termite House was one of NPMA’s most successful marketing communications campaigns to date, surpassing client expectations and driving home the importance of calling a pest control professional.

Innovative assets provide real results.

The campaign exceeded the client’s objective by 34 percent, capturing 36M+ impressions. Coverage spanned FoxNews.com, The Weather Channel, New York Post and syndicated to FOX-TV stations. Tiny Termite House garnered 1+ million social media video views. National pest control companies such as Terminix and Orkin are currently using our materials for marketing and with customers, affirming this project hit the mark with the pest control industry.

The creativity, passion and strategy Vault brings to our work is truly impressive. Not only do they understand the needs of our industry and members, but they also understand the consumer and find incredible ways to break through the clutter of today’s hyper-connected world to engage with our target audiences in meaningful and entertaining ways. The success of this project speaks for itself with over 1 million video views and earned media coverage in top-tier outlets.
