Brittany Tressler is Vault’s daily reminder that the old adage of “good things happen to those who wait” rings true. Having crossed paths with Brittany several times over the development of her impressive career, we patiently awaited an opportunity to welcome her to the firm. After graduating with a dual degree in Journalism and Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, Brittany went on to amass a decade of varied and valuable experience that gives her an incredible ability to approach her work from several perspectives. Beginning her career as a copy editor and content writer, she embraced a career in politics, where her star rose quickly and led to her role as the Executive Director of the 830-member Montgomery County Republican Committee. After running the committee for more than four years, she returned to her media roots, becoming the local editor for Patch. She parlayed her experience in the newsroom and in politics into a naturally successful career at two communications agencies, honing skills in public affairs, media relations, fundraising/development and strategic planning. She puts these strong skills to work outside of the office, where she passionately volunteers as an instructor for the St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Education Program and as a member of the Philabundance Advocacy Advisory Council. A well-rounded professional and critical thinker, Brittany unquestionably raises the game for Vault clients.
