PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (May 6, 2009) – Kate Shields, Vice President and Managing Partner at Vault Communications, participated as an expert panelist in Drexel University’s “Breaking Boundaries: The Revolution of Social Media” event on May 5. Shields was joined on the panel by Scott McNulty, Chief Blogger, Comcast Corporation; Steve Lubetkin, Managing Partner, Professional Podcasts; Valeria Maltoni, President & Founder, Conversation Agent; and Gloria Bell, Founder, Red Staple Consulting.
The event, which attracted more than 200 attendees, explored the rapid growth of social media and its impact on the public relations, advertising and marketing disciplines. Shields represented the voice of PR agencies who actively work with clients to help them embrace, understand and leverage social media to meet business objectives.
