PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (July 1, 2008) - Vault Communications (formerly FCF Schmidt Public Relations) today announced the appointment of Jessica Phelan to Vice President and Partner.
In her five-year career with the leading Philadelphia-area public relations firm, Phelan contributed substantially to the agency's strong organic growth, while sparking incremental growth through her leadership of the agency's new business development program. Since 2003, she spearheaded an industry-acclaimed national media relations and communications program on behalf of the National Pest Management Association. Phelan has also contributed to successful public relations programs for agency clients representing diverse industries, including Airgas, Campbell Soup Company, Rohm and Haas, Rita's Water Ice Franchise Company, Unique Industries, Streamlight, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Pep Boys.
As Vice President of Vault Communications, Phelan will continue to act as day-to-day supervisor for Rohm and Haas and the National Pest Management Association, while providing strategic input for all clients and mentorship for agency associates. She will also continue her leadership of the agency's new business development initiatives.
"In five short years, Jess has made a major impact on the growth of this agency, from her client relationships to her role in the professional development of those employees she manages," said Maribeth Roman Schmidt, President. "As an equity partner, there's no telling how far forward she will propel Vault in the coming years."
