Working the front desk of a busy PR agency is no easy task. Between daily UPS deliveries and FedEx pickups, a phone that seems like it’ll never stop ringing and the revolving door of clients, wanderers and zombies from the doctor’s office down the hall, there’s never a dull moment. But all of that is to be expected in a busy office. Well, maybe not the Zombies, but the rest of it. What I didn’t add are the weekly flower deliveries. Yes, weekly flowers. Let’s just say I’ve come to know the flower deliverymen quite well. We’ve seen it all… flowers from boyfriends, husbands, future mother-in-laws, friends, kids, clients, past interns—you name it. With an agency of 22 great women, it’s no surprise to me the amount of flowers we get, the only surprise is who will be getting them next!
