The Latest Buzz At Vault

We’re two weeks into 2011 -- and already things are buzzing at the Vault. Here are some highlights:

The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) team has been busy pitching the latest results from NPMA’s consumer survey, “Bed Bugs in America.” The team was instrumental in the development and execution of this survey, helping to draft survey questions, providing feedback and managing the project with a third-party research firm. Through their hard work, the story was picked up in The Wall Street Journal and Reuters interviewed our client, Missy Henriksen. Look for more stories to be posted in the client news section of our website.

The Mark Twain House team has also been busy with the latest controversy surrounding a new edition of the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which omits the N-word. The Education Program Manager at the Mark Twain House wrote an op-ed about the new edition of Huck Finn that was featured on the Huffington Post last week. The post generated outstanding online conversation about the controversy, including 1,029 comments and 205 shares on Facebook. Executive Director Jeff Nichols was also featured in USA Today.

Last but not least, the Power Windows & Siding team showed they know what it takes to plan a great event. The team orchestrated a ribbon cutting ceremony and luncheon to celebrate Power’s move to the revitalized city of Chester. Governor Ed Rendell, Mayor Wendell N. Butler, Jr. of Chester and Power founders Jeff Kaliner and Adam Kaliner all spoke at the event.

Check out this great news story about the event from 6ABC’s Lisa Thomas-Laury:
