This week, a few of us joined the winners of the KIWI Dancing Sweepstakes in Los Angeles for a dancing lesson with two-time Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) champion, Cheryl Burke. Upon arrival at Cheryl’s Los Angeles area dance studio on Wednesday morning, the winners were met with a special surprise: Derek Hough, the most recent DWTS champion, would also be on hand to teach some of his award-winning moves. The two-hour private dance lesson focused on the Cha-Cha -- and Cheryl and Derek worked to teach fancy footwork and quick turns. The lesson was followed by lunch at one of Cheryl’s favorite local restaurants where the winners had the opportunity to talk to Cheryl one-on-one, take photos and get autographs. All in all the day was a success and the winners went home with some dance moves they can show off to friends and family.
