My Kind of Town...For An Hour

Shockingly, we departed PHL on time and I was quite lucky in that I not only had an aisle seat but also, no one in the middle seat.  As I settled into my seat, the window seat was occupied by "Knitter Extraordinare."  So many yarns and all of the tools.  She was no joke with the knitting.  However, while I thought she was making a blanket due to the size of her project, she was evidently making socks for the largest human being ever...at least she was trying.

The flight was rather uneventful and upon landing, I was in FRIGID, SNOWY Chicago.  Of course, I was indoors the whole time but it did not look too inviting.  The biggest issue I faced was trying to figure our the next airport I was heading to.  My ticket said SNA but I evidently was heading to Orange County, Anaheim and John Wayne International.  Anyway, off I went from Terminal B to Terminal C enjoying a light show that was most certainly created by someone who uses the words "Dude" and "Whoa" quite often.

So, as I wait ed for the next leg of my journey, I purchased Chex Mix and Cliff Bars for my lunch because United wasn't doing any lunch service on the flight.  It's a 4 1/2 hour flight but since we are landing at 12:30PST, I guess we can catch lunch in Cali.  Anyway, I've got to board but at least I have Starbucks and Chex Mix to sustain me...

I'm going, going going back to Cali, Cali, Cali.
