Do you have a killer recipe for football fans? Does everyone rave about your food after the Big Game?
This year, we asked just that to our nation’s top food bloggers. In November, we initiated a program with Swanson® Premium Chunk Chicken, a brand owned by Campbell Soup Company, and asked top food and entertaining bloggers across the social media space to create the winning football/tailgating recipe using Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken. The result? A lot of online buzz, local media placements and a few amazing good recipes for football entertaining.
Last week, Campbell’s® Kitchen hosted three food bloggers to compete in their first Ultimate Football Recipe Challenge cook-off. Once at the Campbell’s Test Kitchen, the chosen bloggers met with Campbell’s chefs, toured the facilities and prepared their winning recipes for a select panel of Campbell’s judges. Along with great placements on each of the participants’ blogs, we also had the opportunity to garner great local traditional media placements around the Challenge. The Salt Lake Tribune featured two of the bloggers in the Food section and 6ABC and Fox29 of Philadelphia both filmed the event. Two of the winners, Laura Powell of RealMomKitchen.com and Deborah Harroun of TasteandTellBlog.com (both of the Salt Lake area), also did a live segment on Utah’s #1 News Station, KUTV2.
The winner of the Challenge, Real Mom Kitchen, will be featured on the homepage of CampbellsKitchen.com starting on January 31. Her Chicken Enchilada Nachos will be sure to be the Champion during this year’s Super Bowl!
