Brittany Harmon Assistant Account Executive

Brittany Harmon doesn’t shy away from a challenge. In fact, she walks into them head first, asking for a new one while she’s tackling the current. This attitude comes in handy when she’s commuting every day to Plymouth Meeting from Bear, Delaware – or rising at 4 a.m. to trek around to every TV and radio station in Philadelphia.

The “no fear” approach is exactly why Brittany quickly converted from Vault intern to full-time account coordinator. There wasn’t a task she couldn’t complete with great accuracy … a process she didn’t make better if given the opportunity … a tactic she couldn’t execute as if she’d been doing public relations for years.

Happy about the great “all hands on deck” chutzpah that Brittany brought to Vault, her colleagues didn’t realize they were also receiving the service of an onsite style consultant. Brittany is a self-confessed shopaholic, and used her love of fashion in college as the public relations director for University of Delaware’s UDress fashion magazine, a student-run fashion publication. During her time at the magazine, she increased circulation and readership, and increased release event attendance by double digits.

In addition to her work with UDress, Brittany also wrote a weekly relationship column that appeared in the University of Delaware school newspaper, The Review, and the online satirical newspaper, The Revision. Brittany will happily share how some of her columns stirred controversy amongst the student body.

Brittany’s participation in these various student-run media outlets inspired her to create the Student Media Council at University of Delaware. Every month, members from each of Delaware’s media outlets would meet to discuss various topics and upcoming events. This created a support system that encouraged members to support each other’s events.

When she’s not working tirelessly at Vault or commuting back and forth from The First State, Brittany can be found playing softball with friends, enjoying a quick yoga session or discovering the latest fashion trends at the mall.
